About Us

Cursley Motorsport is a family run race team based in Cambridgeshire and are currently competing in the Hyundai Coupe Cup and the Junior saloon car championship in 2024.

 

Founded in 2015 by team owner Alex Cursley, his successes have been drawn from 30 years of experience in the motor trade. Way back as a 15 year old, Alex built, raced and won with Minis in a junior formula on the ovals before moving on to national circuits in his early twenties. More recently Alex has two Coupe Cup series wins (2017 and 2021), Birkett 6hr win and countless race wins to his name.

 

Alex has spent the majority of his working life specialising in MG’s and other classic cars, restoring, recommissioning, tuning etc in his day to day role.

 

With all of this experience Alex has been able form Cursley Motorsport which are able to provide a complete range of services in motorsport to a very high standard. Race car builds and set up, preparation and maintenance, weekend support to a full arrive and drive with data analysis and coaching.
